All SCUBA tank valves are required to have:

B) A burst disk

All valves have a disk that ruptures before the bursting pressure of a tank that would be reached by overfilling or overheating. Air escaping from a ruptured disk is loud, but not dangerous. Only professionals should service tank valves. Do not attempt to replace a disk yourself
